Switch to dry food and do a better job of hiding your stash of mushrooms and Nora will be alright

Cats and dogs often see what we do not.
My feral cat (who adopted me), acts so much like a dog. I will slap my thigh a couple of tomes, and she’s across the yardl and will make a bee-line at me. Her tail is totally detached from her body, constantly moving and gyrating all over the place. She often fights with it.
She’ll freeze mid-step and stare at something just like a pointer.
She talks to me all day long in meows, but somehow forming sentences.
At night, she sleeps up against me and gurgles her dreams to me.
She’s the sweetest cat, also very deadly.
She doesn’t mess with feral chickens or hawks, but everything else that flys or crawls is far game.
yeah. we have a bunch of feral cats around the house here.
started with 4 at first then had like 12 kittens before we got them all fixed. found a clinic that did them for 25 a pop. big savings on the vet in town who wanted 200-250 a pop. anyway, after 8 plus years now
we down to about 8-9 of them left. but on the plus side, they have kept the house and shed mouse and critter free ! they even go next door to go hunting for critters. my neighbors tell me of dead mice and bits of birds in the yard or driveway. she has 2 favorites. Tigger and sweetie them, we can pet but not hold (?) frank, the inside cat was a feral rescue who a love bug. damn cat will wake me up at night when he wants to cuddle or something ?
last thing I need or want is some cat trying to sit on my head !
so, for about 2.5 bags of cat food. we have a mouse and critter home. my neighbors can not say the same thing.
Cats have some unusual and peculiar behaviors.
