This Is Pretty Cool (Fooled me again)

Mercury, Venus and Saturn above the pyramids at Giza (Egypt). This happens once every 2373 years. And this is happening tonight,

The Three Kings.

Almost like somebody planned that eh?

Found out in the comments it is as phony as Kamala Harris’s accents.

Dammit.

  1. Multiple exposure, note how the moon “shrinks” each time.

    (Why is that??)

    (Yes, I know the answer.)

  2. I’ll tell you something that’s not fake. I had this conversation with my Daughter-in-Law who holds a PhD in Astrochemistry and is a noted and published astronomer. We were talking about the recent full eclipse and I pointed out that it is vanishingly improbable that the moon is the exact size and distance from the earth to make it exactly block and be the same apparent size as the sun during an eclipse. She agreed that it is damn peculiar. That fact actually is almost like somebody planned it. And it ain’t fake either – I watched myself. Sometimes the strangest things of all are right in your face.

  3. A clue is that if it really was something that happens every 2373 years, the fact that it was coming soon would have been known for years and the hype that it was coming would have been reaching fever pitch.

The astronomy community has been buzzing about a recurrent nova (“new star”) that happens every 80 years. It’s in a minor constellation that will take the star from too dim to see at all and make it bright enough to notice if you know exactly where to look. And that warrants a special section on Spaceweather.com.

  4. Orion’s belt aligns with the pyramids. The picture ain’t it.

  5. But the position of the three pyramids IS EXACTLY identical to the orientation of the three stars in the belt of the Orton constellation. Orion is implicated in MANY global structures.
