Cool Whip is disgusting. Make your own whipped cream with heavy whipping cream, sugar, and vanilla extract. Cool Whip is just whipped seed oils.
It slides down your throat easily because it’s most oil.
Amen, and it’s not that hard to make real whipped cream. Plus, if you are allergic to casein protein (one of the proteins in milk), it is most certainly NOT non-dairy. Same problem with coffee-mate-type products: just use real cream. You will get less casein protein.
Naw, I prefer it on top. And I fully agree with @MrLiberty, my prior references to the use of cool whip are from ~25-30 years ago, when I hadn’t yet figured out that most modern food was poisonous garbage.
Oh Hell yes!
Now, the real question is: would you put it on pineapple upside down cake?
Me? I do not like whipped cream, handmade or coolwhipish… I don’t even like marshmallows, god awful taste and texture to all.
Now we found something we can agree on. I have an intense dislike for marshmallows. Even more so for marshmallow creme.
The best use for marshmallow creme(fluff) is in fudge. You don’t have to beat it as long and there is no danger of sugar crystals forming.
You marshmallow freaks…
May as well put the pie in a bowl of mayonnaise, that is just wrong.
Love some homemade pumpkin pie and my wife can’t stand the store bought cool whip so she makes it from scratch so I get the best of both … with PILES of cool whip.
Damn, wish I would have thought of that for my pecan pie, pumpkin is for sissies.
I have fond childhood memories of making whipping cream. I once turned it to butter and my dad said I ruined the day.
