Not pissed enough yet – apparently – to force things back to what they should be. Trump’s election has sated some of the anger and urgency about the inexorable decline that was acutely perceptible this time last year. And he isn’t doing the things that really need to be done to crush the left and leave them unable to mount any effective resistance, which is why they are now making him a chump again with judicial dismantling of everything he has been doing.
As it stands today regarding the things he has done, we now have activist judges who have effectively stopped the ban on transfaggots in the military, DOGE ending USAID and cancelling the fraudulent disbursement of funds, the EPA cancelling bullshit climate grants, and the deportation of violent gang members. And these temporary injunctions will halt or reverse progress on all these initiatives (with many more to come courtesy of these goddamned judges) such that almost every major win Trump bragged about in the last several weeks is now being snatched away with no recourse.
He has to get a handle on this judicial interference right damn now, as they will block everything he plans to do from here in out. Failing that, the rest of his term will be one kick in the nuts after another as every possible gain will be stillborn. And then they will come for him in the form of impeachment, and barring that being a successful strategy, assassination will be back in the table. These bastards aren’t messing around, and he needs to start taking the threat they pose with deadly seriousness.
It may just be time to say fuck it, and declare marital law on the basis of a communist invasion done in broad daylight subverting the entirety of the federal government, so that domestic enemies can be rounded up without the inconvenience of operating within normal constitutional limits. Failing that as a preemptive measure, we are looking at a hot civil war, and will probably get one anyway even if Trump does attempt a decapitation strike against the leftist juggernaut.
I agree, but my greatest concern is who will have the power to define “domestic enemies”. Like any such effort to rid our constitutional republic of lice, it will begin with the best of intentions and we all know which road is paved with the best of intentions.
Can’t disagree with that, and regrettably human nature is not generally capable of going “just this far, and no further”. The thing is, if we were successful in truly purging leftists (and thereby leftism) from the country, we’d not have to worry about them regaining power and seeking retribution later.
But there is no stomach for doing what needs to be done to truly eradicate leftists and the threat they present. There are scores of people – civilians – who are hard core leftists, some reading and commenting. here may even have them as members of their family.
I consider it very unlikely there will ever be sufficient will to get rid of all of them (and they are much too entrenched in their ideology to bring them back from that way of thinking, with very few exceptions). That being the case, there really is no top-down quasi-orderly means of solving the problem. And that is why, ultimately, we have wars.
Sooner or later, they’ll find out.
