I agree with you about the urge to match shitty music with any video. What’s the point, except to show a total lack of taste and creativity?
One of my pet peeves. People posting ‘content’ on the internet seem possessed with inflicting their shitty music choices on the rest of us and at ear splitting volume to boot.
Shitty music is just a signal to people to NOT watch those videos.

He had snagged the radiator hoses when he tore down the street light. The engine quickly overheated and locked up.
Makes me think back to that incident out in San Diego back in the 90’s where some guy commandeered a tank from am armory. Took it on a rampage smashing up all kinds of shit. The thing that finally got him was the concrete jersey barrier in the middle of a highway. Got the sumbitch hung up on it with the treads no longer making good contact, and was immobilized as a result. I don’t remember if a motive was ever given for that one, and never hear it talked about these days.
Kind of like Chris Dorner and Eric Frein.
There was a guy in VT who stole a giant tractor and drove it over a bunch of police cars a few years back. He wasn’t happy that they arrested him for weed possession.
