Works great for leaf stains on fiberglass boat deck, bout the only thing that works , even better than bleach
Then there’s oven cleaner, that shitt has its uses too!!
So what’s in it that makes it so effective?
I’d like to clean my aluminium wheels that easy.but you can’t buy Lysol products in the country I live in.
I don’t believe you’d want to use it on wheels, as they are either polished (or anodized) in most cases, and neither is likely to react well to this treatment. Cast aluminum parts (like water pump housings) that do not have a high polish – or anodized – finish, will benefit from this trick, but as the guy in the video says, not on a repeated basis, as this is “eating away” a very thin layer of the aluminum each time to get it clean. In fact, I’d probably hit the cleaned part with some baking soda paste to make sure all the cleaner has been neutralized, before reinstalling it. But that’s just me being extra cautious..
I believe it’s the muratic acid in the toilet bowl cleaner doing the work.
