  1. I gotta tell ya – I don’t have that issue. My wife will absolutley not let her gas tank get below half a tank and she’ll let anyone who does know real clearly where she stands on that issue. Once we were coming home from somewhere in her car and a headlight went out and she had a blister pack of extra bulbs in the spare tire well. I think it comes from her growing up waaaaaay out in the country. She won’t even ride in a car with less than half a tank.

  2. Give wife a gas can. Tell her to go fill it up so you can put some gas in her car.
(ask me for more marriage tips!)

    • I am with you, I don’t mind taking the car to get gas, but I ain’t walking to a gas station and buy a gas can and walking back, better to let me know when you have a couple of gallons in it or you are walking to get gas.

  3. What!?!?!? You drive it; it’s your responsibility to fill the tank and check the fluid levels. Sorry, started to rant a little bit there.

    • You go girl, tell us what you really think. I taught my daughters well according to you.

  4. Well, I think I took this the wrong way. I initially thought he drove it to fumes, so she had some ‘gas’. A solid prank, in my opinion. I guess she drove it to empty, I though. My confusion comes from why wasn’t she filling up the tank on her own again? This husband has set the expectations pretty low. I hope he doesn’t ever need her for more than anything besides a sandwich. He might not survive!

  5. And this is the same woman that can tell you what you wore, what time you picked her up, where you went and what you did on your second date twenty years ago, but can’t tell you how long the “OIL” light has been on in her car.

  6. I’m with Mikey on the whyfe. Mine is the same, panics if the gauge is below 1/2 full.
And it is a Chinese fire drill if she notes it is down to 1/4.

  7. Mia learned that pretty quick when we moved out here, now she always tops it off as a last stop before home. Takes most of a gallon to get home from there.
