The dingoes took over that job. They won’t let anyone out of their vehicle.
Hey, I fixed the transfer case in the jeep. THe “viscous coupler” blew apart. I drilled some holes through it and pinned it. Works so far (2 miles- out to the road and back). Eliminated the differential between the front and rear wheels, which ( I guess) they call AWD.
Just don’t put dissimilar sized or type tires on the front or rear – you’ll find out why a few thousand miles down the road…
“viscous coupler” . Two words I never want to hear again. My first Jeep. The subsequent Jeeps were great, tho.
