  1. I’m constantly asking myself: “And WHY is it that you WANT to believe this?”
There’s nothing that I can believe with certainty, not even my own perceptions. So we muddle through, trying to see the most plausible explanations for the chaos and insanity everywhere around us. Normalcy bias and confirmation bias are constant blocks to look over and around.
Thanks for a great blog: “rude, crude, and totally, socially unacceptable.”

  2. Occam’s razor.

    See who shaves the barber.

I try to observe the “72 hour rule” when presented with something new, and TRY not to draw conclusions with inadequate data. I DO make assumptions until presented with valid data.

Basically, I WAG until I can SWAG.

  3. A big shout out to all the people on the Internet who present actual information that merits reconsideration, rather than simply gainsaying any given proposition, or skipping straight to ad hominem.

    All seven of them.
