As she is heading to Red Robin to meet her sisters, some car full of lunatics start following her, flashing their lights and tailgating her and she can see them flipping her off in the mirror.
Pretty soon they whipped around and pulled up right next to her, flipping her off and screaming incoherently
It took her a second to figure out why as she is trying to drive and freaking out.
Because she had this magnetic sticker on the back of the trunk lid.
Of course she was freaked out and she was real close to where she was going but didn’t want to pull into a parking lot with the freaks right behind her again so she does some zigging and zagging, makes a turn or two and thinks she lost them.
Just as she starts to relax, here they come again, tailgating her, flashing the lights and flipping her off again.
So this time she says Fuck You assholes and starts driving straight to a cop shop that is about a mile down the road.
They must have realized where they were and where they were headed because they suddenly decided they needed to be somewhere else all of a sudden and made a U turn at a light before she got there.
Of course she is freaked out but she managed to get her shit back together and went back to meet her sisters, have dinner and then go see the show.
But when she got home she had the magnetic sticker in her hand and threw it on the coffee table when she came in and then proceeded to tell me what had happened.
We already knew that Vancouver is full of these fuckin’ retards, I actually had a lengthy text conversation with my oldest daughter out of the blue Thursday night while I was at work actually, with her GOING OFF on me about being a Trump supporter after a wanted Tren De Augua member and his woman both got shot over in Portland after trying to ram Border patrol officers, 20 blocks from where she works.
She is half Mexican and she lit my ass up about “Brown people being hunted and how it could have been her or her siblings” because they are all half Mexican.

Come to find out that it was just the opening salvo and and an excuse to light me up over some bullshit that happened when they were over here in early December for the Christmas party we had for them. This. While one can certainly openly express an opinion or preference in a polite, civilized society, we no longer have that. As such, openly expressing an opinion that one knows in advance is going to piss other people off (enough to foment retributive violence) is just a bad idea. Yeah. Sure you could insist on continuing to have that sticker affixed to your vehicle, but it will likely have consequences, and those are being risked for no other reason than pride, and perhaps wanting to irritate the opposition.
Ditch the pride (it isn’t gaining you anything by incurring the risk anyway) and instead be the grey man, operating under the radar. I grew up and worked in the Portland Orygun area and I would attend gun shows and pick up NRA stickers and gun manufacture’s stickers and while out and about would spy a Subaru or Volkswagen or any car with all the co-exist and peace crap and lefty slogan filled cars and would surreptitiously paste and stick those in a prime viewing place and then slip away laughing my ass off wondering if they got a shit show from their cohorts and fellow travelers…

I have a sticker on my truck that has an American flag and says: I’d rather be an American than a Democrat. My wife borrowed my truck and got some harassment over my sticker. It appears that, if you are liberal, you can have anything about hating conservatives. But anything at all about being a conservative, or supporting Trump, or America is worthy of pure rage on their part.

The amount of personal information available to complete strangers based on the stickers in the rear window is considerable.
A while back, was sitting behind a SUV with a stick figure family sticker, mom, dad, 3 girls, and 2 cats. A sticker for a local housing community, a local school sticker, a Navy Wife sticker, and a Navy ship sticker. The ship identified was getting a lot of attention for its role in ops in the middle east.
Based on what was visible, it was possible to deduce with some certainty the following.
Dad on deployment, mom and 3 elementary school age daughters at home in a local housing community. Community has a single security officer on duty, but sheriff response is typically 30-45 minutes. No gates, and most folks park in the driveway in front of the house. Cats, no dogs in the home.
All this info was available to anyone. Total time to gather the info was 30 seconds at a traffic light, and a basic understanding of the local community.
We used to play “tell me about the person driving that car” with the kids. Aside from the often hilarious backstories they made up, the kiddos became good at profiling other drivers based on vehicle and stickers.
None have bumper stickers on their rides now they’re adults.

Guys like us also understand the value of OPSEC and not giving our enemies – known or unknown – info they can use against us. Sure, you can have your Trump sticker, your Gadsen flag on the pole at home, your Smith and Wesson t-shirt, but you can also be fucked with very easily by those who will be triggered by those overt displays of your political leanings, and know they stand little chance of suffering official consequences.
And when that happens, and you shoot and kill the dumb fucks, your problems are just beginning, since the police and the state don’t like anyone nosing in on their monopoly on force. So you get booked and dragged into court where maybe you prevail, or maybe you draw a long stretch for murder 2 or, if lucky, just manslaughter. Oh, and weapons charges as well, just because the system gets off on fucking you extra hard. Even if you escape that fate, family of the shitbum you popped files a civil suit and you get cleaned out. The thing is, stuff like bumper stickers (or decals for your kid’s school, the stick figure family, military, country club, etc.) are really just needless displays of vanity, and free advertising. I think that the vast majority of people like me agree – the other side is mentally deranged and can cause great harm to you or your property.
