  1. I don’t think that they would sell more. I think that there would be quite a few pimply faced kids trying to copy what they watched on TV and you know damn good a well what the results would be. How you can think that that kind of driving is cool is way beyond my comprehension.

  2. They photoshopped out the trailer with the skidsteer strapped on. It would have to been too embarrassing for the cops.

  3. Seems as though the cop didn’t care who he killed with that half assed pit maneuver.

    • My first thought as well, especially doing it with oncoming traffic. He should get his ass kicked as he would suffer no consequences if someone died

  4. April 10, 1934, the notorious bank robber Clyde Barrow penned a letter to Henry Ford, the automotive pioneer. In this unusual testimonial, Barrow expressed his admiration for Ford’s V-8 cars, which he considered ideal for getaway vehicles. The letter, written from Tulsa, Oklahoma, reads as follows:

“Dear Sir: While I still have got breath in my lungs, I will tell you what a dandy car you make. I have driven Fords exclusively when I could get away with one. For sustained speed and freedom from trouble, the Ford has got every other car skinned, and even if my business hasn’t been strictly legal, it doesn’t hurt anything to tell you what a fine car you’ve got in the V8. Yours truly, Clyde Champion Barrow.”

I’m betting that didn’t hurt Ford’s sales Any. Seeing the Dodge handle the terrain, at speed, and making some real speed, Excellent video, the driver of the Dodge was Very busy a few times.

  5. Why did it look like this was filmed in England…with all the cars driving on the incorrect side of the road…

    • If you noticed, the Tik Toc header and other graphics were backwards. It appears to be from a right side driving perspective, but isn’t.

      • Cederq, I cannot see that well enough. Why is the RAM logo on the tailgate reading properly? It would have been cheap enough to rent a stretch of Highway for an hour in an Aussie state, do some filming.
That may account for the bad driving by the ‘cop’, so they wouldn’t write off the star of their commercial. Whoever added that horrible screeching sort as a soundtrack needs shooting, preferably taking a divot out of each earlug so they can hear properly!

  6. The 1974 movie, Mr Majestyc, with the yellow Ford pick up doing the crazy off roading set the standard. Got my 1st twin I beam ’65, Ford in ’75. I’ve had one or more ever since.
