I try to be a saint on occasion.
yeah. Mom taught us that as well. it doesn’t cost anything to be kind to others
but if they are assholes, treat them as such
and as grandpa taught me long ago, give them a throat punch if they need it .
I have long been convinced of that as a metaphysical proposition. True humility seeks to remain anonymous.
There are also such creatures as angels, and sometimes they wear fur suits.

I don’t know about being saints, but good citizens put their shopping carts in the designated return area after they unload them.
What you do when no one is around to cover you in accolades (i.e., when nobody’s watching) says volumes about your character.

Maybe they have a disability and couldn’t find a disabled parking spot. Then the self appointed shopping cart nazi verbally assaulted them. Guess who has the inferior character.
