Thank You Andrew!

When I got home Friday there was a box sitting next to my recliner.

After I got sat down I reached over to pull it closer to see what it was because I wasn’t expecting anything and it was so heavy it didn’t move, I did.

I had to put a bit more effort into it but I got it slid around to see where it had come from.

Andrew Such and Such.

The last name is quite unique and I remembered he had sent me a bunch of tooling a while back.

I also remembered him saying that when he got around to it, he would be sending some more.

That was well over a year ago.

My kinda guy.

Ain’t no hurry.

After I about hurt myself packing it off to the garage like Golem and his Precious, I got the box opened up and started unpacking it. Like the Energizer Bunny, it just kept going and going and going.

No wonder it was so heavy!

Wow.

Thank You!

I still can’t find his Email address so I will probably have to go get a Thank You card and send it to him so that he knows I got this stuff.

There are just ALL KINDS of goodies in there I can use.

There is this one, two piece thing however, that I have absolutely no clue as to what it is or what it is used for.

I’m hoping maybe one of you readers can help me out here.

This thing.

That odd shaped cut out tells me it is for a specific application on a specific piece of equipment.

Like I said, I have no clue.

Either way, I want to say Thank You again, there are still a whole BUNCH of useful items in there that I CAN use and they came to a good home.

  1. WOW!

Nope, ain’t got a clue as to what it is, but it holds SOMEthing in place…

  2. Future looks bright Phil, thanks Andrew. We will get some good entertainment out of all that.

  3. Wowsa! What a collection of goodies. There’s a bunch of “when you need one, nothing else will do” kinds of things. Like the lathe dog.

As for the mystery item, I think it’s a tool holder like the other folks said, for some specific tool and QCTP.

  4. HSS blade type parting tool holder ya got there Boss, not sure why it has the keyed base on it, that would be anyone’s guess because it’s been modded for some specific application or machine.
