Should not be restricted by gender. Currently, the falsely accused have recourse in civil court I would think (I am not a lawyer, but I play one on the internet). Would making a false accusation a crime help? Maybe, as a lot of people cannot afford the cost of filing a civil complaint after the damage has been done. Yet – this would go against my loathing of putting another law on the books.
Women have a long way to go catch up statistically. It’s about 3 women killed by husband or boyfriend for every man killed by wife or girlfriend. Couldn’t find the stats on instrument of death. I have a hunch women are more likely to do something sneaky like poison.
They should have their heads shaved and made to wear a potato sack in public for six months after they’re let out.
