  1. Most sites do a “hat tip to…” whoever sends them something that gets posted. A little appreciation encourages contribution.—ken.

    • Did you send this to me? I don’t remember. When I get something through the email and will post at a later date I will put the name or avatar of the person sending it to me as a reminder to hat tip in my description below the picture in my folder, you have seen that on some of the posts I have submitted. I am not adverse to attribution.

If I have omitted that I profusely apologize . If you comment back that you did I will correct that. All I had in the description was “Don’t Quit” which signifies to me I found it on the net someplace without a author or a personal submission.

      • Never apologize. Mr Smith is a Karen. As if he’s never found something online and posted it.
And by the way, there is no need to credit me for all the fucked up shit I send you. I redistribute, that’s all. I’ve made one meme myself once in my life.
Ken needs to extract the 12″ round wooden object out of his ass and be proud of the fact something his sorry ass posted got redistributed.

  2. Wow
There are days where I don’t even want to do anything but pull the covers over my head and not even move. But that is not my nature and I’m cut from a different cloth I tell myself. I may not be able to put pen to paper and express it as elegantly as the author, but I don’t quit.

  3. I have seen this before. The last line of the first paragraph was changed though.

“When care is pressing you down a bit,
    Don’t look to me, I don’t give a shit.”

  4. I first shall point out the I did not claim that I sent that as that is not the point. Attribution costs nothing and it encourages participation. It is a way of saying thanks like when someone holds the door for you. It is socially polite and encourages participation and return business as any person that is in business can tell you. Clearly that is a knowledge base lacking in some. Also, we are heading into tough times and the last thing we need is people allegedly on our side picking fights, name-calling and labeling others within the group that they know nothing about. The weekend warriors that provoke quarrels within the community and lack basic social skills are going to divide and hinder our efforts to get through this.. —ken

    • You presented your comment to me that I took the post from somewhere(one) and did not provide an attribute. If you were keen to look at past posts where I received a meme or a picture That I provide an attribute unless I am requested not to and I honor that request. But, I always ask. My apology to you is rescinded. Next time think very clearly before you make an accusation. Besides, you were off topic and while Phil and me tolerate that to an extent be aware we do have a policy like most of the bloggers do, keep on topic.

      • I was not off topic in my first point and and the second point I was responding to what another commentor was saying about me. I was not criticizing you. I intended this post as a Reply to him. Somehow, I hit the wrong button. But I won’t ever be here again.—ken

  5. The idea is that when your mind tells you that you are done and can’t go any further, you are only at about 40 percent of your actual capacity. By pushing through that initial resistance, you can tap into the remaining 60 percent of your potential you didn’t know you had
