I want to invent an alarm clock that sounds like a cat starting to retch. There is nothing that will get me out of bed faster.

Bet that is under-diagnosed like the rest of environmental causes of mental illnesses.
That is just one of the reasons all critters are excluded from my bedroom when I go to bed.

The reason why we have no cats here on the farm is my dog who hates cats, coons, possums, rabbits, squirrels, and every other kind of critter that runs walks or crawls. She and I share a hatred for feral cats that kill more pheasants, quail, and song birds than any other predator.
