I worked in Venezuela, Bolivia and other South and Mid-American countries and I, too, had lunch and attended functions with Maduro when he was VP under Chavez, whom I’ve also had dinner with, more than a couple times.
This had absolutely nothing to do with voting machines. Venezuela was one of the last countries on earth to not have a central bank tied to the World Bank. I was there when Chavez started ALBA and saw the attempts on his life; I witnessed the economic warfare inflicted on the Venezuelan people due to the government’s global non-compliance.
If you’ve seen Barbara Lerner Spectre’s video on multiculturalism in Europe, then you have the beginning of understanding of what’s going on in countries that do not bow to global pressure. Voting machine irregularities, drug smuggling, gangs and other things are the ostensible reason for the US invasion and attacks on Venezuelan sovereignty, not the actual reasons.

I live here in Maricopa County where this has already been exposed. The problem is that vote fraud is so endemic to ALL elections by BOTH parties, neither wants to give up on their own individually developed fraud processes and are always trying to co-opt each other’s vote fraud networks. This continual competition of fraud is seen within the party apparatuses as the normal daily process. Giving up on any one of these fraud schemes, either to the opposition or to the justice system, is seen as defeat and suicide of one’s own party,…which is a fate always considered worse than any other outcome. The fraud on BOTH sides has been institutionalized and industrialized. It simply has to all be burned down to the ground and started over from scratch,…resorting to hand tally of paper ballots once again, and any and all automation BANNED FOREVER from ALL election processes. This will not eliminate fraud,…but will keep it small.
