  1. Been there myself. TBH I have serious doubts as to their findings simply because …

  2. I had one of those 30 or so years ago. The place where the sleep room was, in the bowels of a local hospital right next to one of their “equipment rooms”, was so noisy I had to take a sleeping pill to get to sleep.

    • Nemo many years ago they just gave me my sleeping pill to make sure. When they woke me up at 5 AM I knew I needed the CPAP mask hadn’t felt that good in many years that early. The problem is I like to camp and there’s one place I go with no power, so it’s a crutch and a bitch at the same time.

      • Look into getting a battery for it depending on Model they make them? If you do not have a generator get a small one to charge the battery.

        • I use a CPAP machine and I use a deep cycle marine battery for power outages and have had no problems. I have two, the one I am currently using a Resmed in my home and it requires a transformer to up the 12v to 24 volts and 7.5 amperage draw when I use a battery or hook into my travel trailer 12V system. So, I use my older Phillips Respironics CPAP which uses 12v, 4.8 amp draw and no transformer to operate in my travel trailer, no additional amperage pull. When you are boondocking you become interested in amperage draw on your batteries…

  3. I had one of these and can relate! Aside from the plumbing I was hooked up to, the place took deliveries on oxygen and such all night long. Every time those carts carrying the tanks went down the hall they rattled like hell and woke me up!

  4. And unless you are used to sleeping on your back, you pretty much aren’t going to get much sleep either. Thankfully with apnea, you get such horrible sleep normally that falling asleep even with all this crap on you and your face still happens.
