  1. FAFO, didn’t he?
Giant OOPS, although the officer has to follow traffic laws unless he is in pursuit or responding to a call, in which he HAS to roll with lights and siren. I know a few County and State guys…

        • I guess you’re right. My decade plus of being out there and doing that, I never learned a damn thing. Funny how I was the guy training the new ones though. But hey, you have your friends now don’t cha?
I’m going to give you a simple case in point.
          4 lane highway.
          2 north 2 south
          Grass median strip separating them.
          Rush hour speed limit 60.
Trooper in passing lane does 75-80
Headlights only in a marked car, everybody sees him and moves over as he cruises by.
Plate reader mounted on the car. Now pay attention cause here is where you are wrong. He’s getting information off the plates. No emergency!!
The reader tells him everything about the car and the person it is registered to. Suspended license, warrants, current insurance status. Even the picture off their drivers license. Do you have any idea how many traffic stops that generates? And from there, vehicle searches? And arrests made? Most times all that would be required is slowing down, pulling in behind the vehicle then activating the lights as they were pulling to the shoulder. But hey, you have your friends and obviously know more about all that than I ever would.

But I just made that all up and nerver had a thing to do with that whatsoever. I know you have your friends.

  2. Pucker factor went to eleventy but the asshole should have his light on if he wanted up front.
