$5.19/lb for 80% hamburg? She’s getting hosed. I paid $4.59/lb for 93% a week or two ago, that was for a 1lb package. If you buy a 3 lb log and make your own patties or smaller pkgs for meat loaf or whatever it’s $3.99/lb for 93%. I live in central New England which is almost as far as you can get from where beef is raised.

I think the Biden admin are draining the strategic beef reserve to temporarily lower prices before the election. The slightly lower prices are all well and good, but if we have to mobilize for war, then what do we do?
