  1. I was born to a cowboy who left it, and got to play real cowboy sometimes because of it. That’s why I’m not a cowboy, it is extremely hard work and definitely not lucrative unless you own the land.

I’m not averse to hard work but that lucrative things is importance but you can’t see my crocs anyway, they’re camo.

    • Orange ones. I had a pair once. Worn through slick under the balls of my toes till they cracked.

Color came from my alma mater though.

  2. Will this filth and abuse never end?!?! 😭

Seriously fellas? I’ve spent the bulk of my life in boots. In the latter years of my career it was steel toes. And – not just the toes… mine had that metatarsal metal plate over the laces. In those days I’d have laughed at you if you even suggested that I would end up in sandals and crocs. I always wore those BDU cargo pants and filled my pockets with junk and tools and crap. And let me say this about that: they were great days. I clanked like a tank when I walked. I was a king among other kings who were dressed just as I was. My EDC collection was bigger than Batman’s.

    Great days, indeed!

But now? Oh, how sweet the crocs treat my tired old feet. My sandals are broke in to where a 5 miler with the Niglet is like walking on sunshine. I still have the big iron worker clogs downstairs but even with cushioned inserts… I dunno how long I could wear them. Crocs may suck, my friends… but nothing sucks more than getting old!

    • Hang in there, Filthie, don’t let the naysayers convince you that wearing crocs is a bad idea.
I have crooketdfeet, and Crocs keep me from hobbling from wearing restrictive shoes.

  3. Crocs it is. Unbeatable comfort for aching, throbbing feet. Found some wide toed tennies on Amazon, $30-40. Thick soles, MOST comfortable. If ya got a hankering to cruise thru the hood and ya wanna look like you belong there, they have ’em in red.

  4. My wife likes her Crocks flip-flops. They look like regular flip flops but have the cushy feeling of the Crocks material so very comfortable. Not the traditional ugly Crocks in the least. Yes, they do actually make something that is ok.
