He reminded them they were doing the same during meetings before the Declaration of Independence was written.

Yep, it’s only treason if you lose; just ask Southerners, the descendants of the only Americans to have to fight two revolutions. Record, 1 and 1. So far.
And it was ended in a southern state because the yankees weren’t tough enough.
