Igor, a modern AR15 (even a 16″ carbine) with any ammo, is good out to 4-500 yards, besides everyone has one. Remember, “Run what ya brung.” Besides, you’re a “designated rifleman” right? I’ll bring an 800 yd rifle, can’t afford a 1000+ yd gun. There’s room for everyone that’s willing. Though, some of us geezers are only marginally able.
I don’t have any of that fancy stuff the guy in the pic has, but I’m ready. It is past time.
I think they forgot to paint the sling on it.
