The Aussies DO love their four-letter words.
Just watch Dashcam Australia on YouBoob.
I have to turn the audio waaaaay down because the wife complains about it!
Here in the UK we’d say “Well, bugger-me-sideways!”
Different phrase, same usage.
Another one occasionally heard is “Well, spank my arse and call me grandpa!”
They always seem to be related to some odd sexual practice.
Whereas Americans just say “Well, fuck me running.”
“And, did you know she said the baby was yours?”
I like “Fuck me runnin” better
The phrase is used quite often in Alberta and Saskatchewan.
In Fort Mac, you usually hear, “Fukt de ass outta dat won,” “Lard tundrin,” or “Sweet Jeezuz.”
