They can do metullurgical analysis and match a pellet to a batch or lot. But I’ve been a jury duty quite a bit and explaining that to a jury of your “peers” is something else entirely. Evidence comes from the witness stand. Forensics doesn’t actually play the role in the legal system that TV shows would lead you to believe.
True. All a shyster has to do is state this witness is an “expert” and the typical juror will believe any bullshit said “expert” spouts without question.
