Phil combined his Sprite, two of his lawn tractors and that trailer to be named later for his new commute car as gas gets expensive and scrounging still has to be done.

I think those little “cars” where made on the island of man. back in the 1970’s I think. top speed depends on the weight of the driver.
I saw it on a old Top Gear show a few years back.
It is called a Pell P-50 built in 1963 in the UK.
Yes, it’s a Peel. Named after the town where it was made in the Isle of Man.
Is that a rechargable??
I see a power cord coming out of its back end and a “trailer” just behind it that might could sorta have batteries in it…
No, internally combusted: Villiers 200cc two-stroke , I think.
The “factory” model has the air-cooled 2-banger, who’s to say some mad genius hasn’t electrified it? I’d give it a go, just for the technical challenge!
That’s life I the PNW..so sad.
Imagine being in an accident in one of those things. A semi wouldn’t even feel the bump and the sound would be akin to smashing a fly with a fly swatter even if the other vehicle is mid-sized sedan.
It looks like it came with a trailer to tote a coffin.
