We experienced a total failure to communicate. It seem the blog went completely down for at least a half hour. A test? Who the fluck knows. I was busy reading a medical journal on brain surgery procedure for a medical chart audit I am doing and was completely unaware and underwear of it crashing except for the eight emails from concerned trolls and readers.

Phil and me have a site on Blogger, the Vulgar Curmudgeon, https://bustednuckles.blogspot.com/ That is our back up site and we keep it fresh. So if Bustednuckles goes down it may still be up and that is where you will find us and we will pass on any information we have. So, bookmark it and hope it is not affected, it was still up during that half hour.

Biden Says He Is Going To Step Aside (Updated)

BIDEN DROPS OUT

President Biden announced Sunday that he will step aside as the Democratic presidential nominee, ending weeks of hand-wringing among party leaders who urged him to leave the race after a disastrous debate performance left many Democrats fearing he was too old for office and unable to defeat former President Trump.

Biden’s decision opens a path for Vice President Kamala Harris and other possible replacement candidates, including California Gov. Gavin Newsom, to hastily mount a campaign for the nomination ahead of the Democratic National Convention in mid-August.

“I believe it is in the best interest of my party and the country for me to stand down and to focus solely on fulfilling my duties as president for the remainder of my term,” Biden said in a statement. He will address the nation later in the week, he said.

He thanked those who worked on the campaign and Harris for being “an extraordinary partner in all this work,” but he did not endorse her to replace him on the ticket

But Democratic desperation and Harris’ own recent performance as a vigorous administration spokesperson and loyal deputy have changed her fortunes. If she recerives the nomination, Harris would be the first woman of color to head a national ticket and, if she wins, the first female president.

And I don’t know what the deal is but time just literally flies by anymore.

I can’t believe we are already over half way through July and I feel like I haven’t gotten a damn thing done that I was wanting to do.

Except I did go out and murder my lower back today, going through and sorting out more shit to get rid of and filling up the back of my truck.

If I could just get five or six more loads out of it I might make The Wifely Unit happy.
