This is a very old recipe! 1 cu sugar• 1/2 cu flour• 2 tbsp cocoa powder • 2 cu whole milk• 2 tbsp real butter • 1- 1.5 tsp vanilla extract (preferably real, not imitation). Let it set for a few minutes then enjoy #chocolategravy #gravy #appalachia #southerncooking #easyrecipe

I’m pretty sure I stll have relatives on my Mom’s side living in Appalachia, our ancestors there go way, way, way back.
