    • Oh, I have a couple packs of sanitary pads in the big med kit for the same reason. One of those and a tourniquet = compression bandage.

  1. I have done the shopping for most of our marriage, and I have been buying my wife’s pads for more than 25 years… No big deal, expect that I really object to the frequency with which the packaging changes.
    I just get things sorted, so that I know which colour scheme corresponds to which pad, and they change the fucking things again.
    It is startling how many men find even a mention of their wives’ needs to be uncomfortable, or at the very least have no idea what she needs or uses. I have never understood why it’s such a sore spot. Most men seem to have the idea that ‘As long as I get to fuck it, I don’t care how it works’. This is unfortunate.

  2. Pantyhose has standard sizes and shapes, there is a chart of heights and girths. Why isn’t there an ANSI or DIN standard for sanitary products?

They’ll give you some clown like Sam Brinton or Richard Levine and yap about their rights (which really don’t exist over and above) anybody else’s, but real rights?

  5. Yeah, my wife asks me to buy stuff like that and promptly puts her phone on silent mode as soon as I leave. I’ll send pics like that to her and stand patiently in the aisle forever waiting on a reply, finally I just grab one and when I get home – oops my phone must have been on silent and that’s the wrong one. Dang.

  6. Thank God, my spouse could purchase such items and had no problems doing so, considering his four daughters, mine, and our adopted daughter’s puberty needs don’t give you any warning.
