Mr Igor, you’ve alluded to your SMLE being scoped, so unless they m IPO it’s a Scout setup with a forward mount on the sight base, no stripper-clip top-ups possible during the mass attacks by zombie hordes in Utah.
Have you considered producing a cut ‘n shut affair with the standard 10-shot magazine shell welded to a Bren 30-shot magazine? No guarantees that you’re able to move all 40 of those .303 rounds through without hiccups, but I’d like to see the resulting efforts.
A few of those babies could be your answer if those slavering politicians ever attacked!

The only mod I want(ed) done is the scope mount. I had to buy an adapter on FleaBay, The iron sights were long gone… So I bought a cheap-and-cheesy scope and put it on. Nuttin’ special. Did have to buy an ejector spring from Brownells and a few extra ten-round mags that aren’t nearly as good as the original ones.
Hey, when the gun is given to ya, ya takes what you can get!
At least it’s good to 500 yards.
