A Terminator it is not…
Bidenbot, also climbs stairs and rides a bicycle.
Well, what the young kids don’t understand is that people will be needed to design the robots, install them, maintain and fix them. Lots of good, high paying jobs if you have the skill set, and the necessary skills for these (and other good tech jobs) don’t come from playing Minecraft.
It only took me 30 or so years to figure that out.
I’ve been asking that question for years now: “Who’s gonna fix the damn ‘droids?”
I spent the last dozen years of my career in medical technology troubleshooting and fixing the things. Droids are idiots, and can rarely tell you what’s wrong with them. Our droids were bolted to the floor and didn’t wander around loose, but they were idiots just the same.
If you know a little kid who likes to take things apart to see what’s inside, give that kid a tool set for Christmas!
Since I started fixing robotic/automatic equipment before I started designing them, I had a leg up on those fresh-out-of-college idiots that thought they were Engineers. MY equipment could be FIXED, but usually was bulletproof because it wasn’t until it wore out (MILLIONS of cycles!!) that you needed to work on it. Some of my stuff is still running 40 years later! Wish I held the patents…
Looks like a couple of guys I work with…
They are coming for your guns.
That’s better then the temps we get looking for full time jobes
That’s the same repairbot who fixes the McD’s shake machines, isn’t it?
I think this is my son in law wearing a robot costume…
Look, robot interns are just as clumsy as human ones until they learn the ropes.
