“She gave it away for free”?
What?

Remember that PSA from the 60’s? “VD… is for everybody. Not just one or two….” Ain’t nothing free.
That old steam semi-end dump is something else. I wonder if the lift cylinders on the trailer operate on steam.
That “Dodge milk tanker” could really spoil your cup of tea given that it’s a Bedford petrol tanker!
Jannie, that is what the caption on the British truck blog I stole the pic from…
The Jannie was right. It’s a Bedford RLHZ truck.
Were, exahctly, is this bookmobile’s route? Asking for a literate friend.
Hell, never mind. I can’t abide people who say “for free”. ‘Free’ isn’t an amount.
Thank you, TB. My hate of that misuse knows no bounds
Gee thanks guys. I hadn’t ever noticed that one
That would have worked better if I’d proofread it and caught my misspelling, now wouldn’t it?
There is actually a trucking company in Washington state called IDGAF. The guy hauls logs.
That âBookmobile Bad Girlâ, I wonder if that is an early pic of Deathrayâs librarian girlfriend? Sheâd be about the right vintage for him anyway.
Hey, a mountain man has to get his home library put into alphabetical order somehow, even if she isnât impressed with the extent of his book catalogue.
The red steam truck from J.Hirst & sons has two photos above it with unlikely loads. That rigid tray greenish truck with what looks like a sleeper cab has only one axle under the load of logs, but it isnât sinking down, have you been logging balsa wood, Cederq? The orange-hued logger above that has an impressively high load, it must be hauling the timber on a dead-flat straight road!
But the books were expensive for years.
LOVE that very-well-done VW pickup truck!
Not that I would be caught dead owning one…
