Some pretty trucks and some pretty odd-looking trucks…
#16 being a good parent,spending time with/raising child right!
Love these old truck pics. Reminds me of my younger days when I had to drive the grain truck to the scales.
On another note, how many folks were taught when stopping behind another vehicle; you would look down the hood and spot the bottom of the tire in front of you. I know I’m not explaining this correctly; but, I was taught to give myself enough room so if I had to pull into the other lane, I would be able to do it without hitting the vehicle in front of me.
Doesn’t seem to be a “thing” taught these days. I have had some folks pull up so tight to my buttocks that I can’t even see their headlights.
That was the way I was taught, if you can see the bottoms of the tires of the vehicle in front of you and was reinforced in MP school in the Army so if you had to pull out for any reason you had the space. When idiots have done that pull up tight against my ass, I am famous for putting in reverse and backing up… No damage to my stout bumpers on my truck…
I miss wing windows.
#3 appears to have American Lafrance heritage.
White trucks? I suppose we could paint them black . . .
I drive a white truck, with a dark blue canopy on the bed, does that make me racist? I have had my share of white vehicles in my life, I just like white as a non-color… Also have a white dog, does that enhance my whiteness, racist race card?
We have white trucks cos they’re the only ones that work.
I’m a fan of whites.
Saw a jet powered semi tractor make a run down a drag strip years ago, it was pretty cool, especially the startup
