Remember some of those old ones probably carried the product. Bwahahaha
Maybe I was born a hundred years to late.
the one with the castle in the distance is Castle Street, Edinburgh. I’d guess at the early to middle fifties.
That’s a great collection, CederQ. The shot of the fleet is incredible.
It is a great photo. Parked in perfect precision.
Back when they had the “coke” in Coke!
You know, the product.
Kept the sign painters busy. Quality hand lettering in those days.
One of the worst companies in history!
It even fooled the government and general public of the US to pay for it’s global expansion, thieving bastards.
Some nice pictures, shame about the subject.
Seek out the good and beautiful in life and enjoy it. Try not to dwell on the negative. Time is short.
Loved the paintings, loved the ’49(?) Chebbie with that unique “pop-up” roof!
The fleet pics were cool as well. Keep ’em coming!
That Chebbie Apache truck was interesting… Year?
Igor, I believe a 53, 54 or even a 55…
Nice photos.
OT…looks like Big Country might be under attack again. Couldn’t access his blog.
I had no problems accessing Big’s blog, ya never know what the ‘tards are up too.
If Big’s site is playing up, it’s probably those Courtney Edwards pics. All that gore must be dripping into the cracks and congealing.
Damn!, but GE makes tough blenders. Cederq, you think it’s too late for a ride to the ER for her? They should have just spooled in reverse for a while.
I can still remember the clinking noise of glass bottles in wooden crates.
A cold refreshing Coke, screw the coffee! Hey, Cederq, you gonna find some Mountain Dew pics for Deathray and his hillbilly beaver-chewing backwoods pals?
In the late 70’s I drove a 12 bay Coke truck similar to the one in the pik 2nd from the bottom. Went around a left hand corner on the busy 4 lane highway 41 in Port Charlotte with a right side bay door open and spilled 44 cases of 16 oz bottles all across 2 lanes. Took hours to clean up.
