The first one reminds me of The Little Red Wagon I used to see at the drag strip as a child.
Much Blue Oval goodness this week.

Yup, after posting those on Sunday I always do a preview and I noticed I have a awful lot of Fords in this mix and Leigh would be happy… I even threw in a Dodge and a cornbinder to keep those people happy.
Used to live around the corner from what was the Colfax Garage. That’s been an empty lot for probably sixty years now. But it was on the main street into the downtown stretch, all two city blocks of it anyway. Kauffman’s originally started the Chevy dealership which is now ’bout a mile south of downtown. Different name now. Barney Fife would have been a good fit for the local PD back then.
Thanks for posting.
That is cool. Since I have started this Old Truck Tuesday also Old Train Thusrday and I always put a service station, or garage or a depot at the end several people have commented that they knew that place or it is still standing and some have shared what ever history they knew about and these pictures I find are from all over the states and some foreign countries.
Love that red Dodge Ramcharger.
I had a 1992 for 19 years, but had to get rid of it. Couldn’t find parts for it anymore, and it had spent the first 9 years in Virginia Beach, VA. The floor panels on both sides had rusted completely through.
But it had legroom, headroom, turned tighter than any other car I ever had. And it could carry 4 people with all their gear in the back. Soooooooo want another one.
