Yes, but with an extra couple of inches to spare in the roofline.

BC, you are aware that differing connotations can be put to your statement? Its a small wonder that Cederq hasn’t already done so.
I would drive that Ford with the Mad Max front end EVERYWHERE!
My boss had one of those International “prototype” pick-ups. They were supposed to have been designed in hopes of replacing the Humvee and were actually sold for a while, not very successfully. They’re bigger than the picture would seem to indicate and ride very rough. He bought it from a dealer in El Paso and the drive home to Mississippi like to killed his kidneys. One more long trip, this time to Columbus, o-HIGH-o and he was done with it. Quote: “I need something I can actually stand to drive.”
Too bad that nobody imported them to Australia. The design of the forward-sloping bonnet (hood) means that you can see in front of you when you’re driving up a slope or climbing out of a gully or creek, without having to pop it into low/low and walk beside the vehicle, using the hand throttle on the dash, making corrections to the steering as you go.
It seems that none of the vehicle designers or decision makers for the Big 3 companies in the US have ever driven one of their own products off of a bitumen highway, or give a shit about what their potential customers want or need.
It’s also why you will only find a Landcruiser or a Patrol in use on a cattle station or in mining/oil exploration, anywhere that men rely on their vehicles with their life. It’s not that you can’t buy Yank 4WDs here, but that only ‘Toorak cowboys’ or posers buy them. A shame, but it’s the truth.
That 48 panel would be my driver. Cool to the max.
Yeah. I’m not sure from that angle. It looks like a cab&chassis, of some sort. At least an F500.

That first Mack seems to have lost it’s chain. I used to love the sound those trucks made.
Bring the Scout back.
