I had a ’47 Power Wagon. Fenders so coated with military paint you could tap dance on them. Front and rear PTO winch.
Boys, if she says ” it’s me or the truck”
Take the truck!
Some sharp trucks there.
Have to ask if CederQ is feeling okay. His first image was a Dodge. 🙂
Just sucking up to our overlord Phil… So was the last truck.
I saw a ’36 chev pickup in a barn since owner left for WWII. Only missing was tires/wheels and distrubutor. One of my Dad’s foreman was gonna buy it.(I was young) Had to leave jobsite. Dumbass wound up not buying it. Old man wanted 75$ for it. Dammit!
There are some beautiful rigs in this batch, although I’m not to sure about the choice of colors on that ’54 Dodge 4×4. I’d call it banana-lime.
I did not know Dodge ever made a five window cab.
# 1- I had a ’79 Ramcharger like that, but with the older Grille that had Horizontal Parking Lights – 360, LA727 Trans, NP-208 Full-Time 4WD Transfer… a Gas Pig, but completely Unstoppable off-Road until the Mud got up to the Doorhandles. The thing was, I knew how to “Read” the Mud, so the Winch only ever got used to Pull Out the Fords and Chebbys.
I had a 1992 Dodge Ramcharger for 18 years. I really, really didn’t want to give it up, but finding parts for it was getting harder and harder.
Mileage sucked, but didn’t buy it for that. 13 mpg, put a 4,000 pound trailer behind it, went to 11 mpg. Never got it stuck, came close a few times. And was always amazed how small the turning radius was.
And being a square body, there were very few things I couldn’t transport it. Was great for 2 people with all the fixings to go camping in.
Great set. Thanks
