I owned a ’63 Chevrolet pickup years ago. It needed a lot of work, and I didn’t have the time, or money, to refurbish it into original condition. I traded it for a ’68 Dodge van, which I eventually traded in for a ’79 Ford pickup.
I wish I still had all of them. None were lemons, I enjoyed driving all of them, and they were easy to work on.
The Hudson pickup has a bit more patina than the one my great uncle drove. He had the pickup and a 4 door Hornet for my great aunt. He was a gentleman farmer – he owned the land and equipment and had hired help to do all of the work. He drove the car most of the time. He passed in the 80’s at 83 years old. He never had any children and I don’t know what happened to the vehicles.
Getting old. I would still like to have one of those little trucks.
Me too, and I have owned a couple of them, still wish I had at least one of them.
The GM superliner is photo chooped ..it has one set duelies on back an i think one set up front ..cool pics .
You are correct sir. Image search shows that it only has two axles, with duelies front & rear. Still an impressive rig though.
picture resembles a Case A6 in the position of the two elevators and unloading auger.
The A6 was a pull-type, the pics appear to show self-propelled.
That Futureliner is an absolute monster. Looks like a mid-century locomotive on tires. Gorgeous, I love it!
I need an old truck. Eye on a ’75 F250 that sorta’ derelict looking. Fix with screwdriver and pliers. Still have timing light, dwell meter and other old fossilized shit.
Futureliner 09 was restored by Dave Kindig and his crew. It took them 22 months from start to finish.
JP is correct – they are a wonder to behold.

Second to last is basically a Shane Black (“Hawkins” from Predator) joke.
Man, that’s a big pussy!
Nice Collection!
Had a 63 Ford like the one pictured. 2-50 a/c and no radio. It’d run up to 80 mph in 2nd gear if you had a long enough straight-away but you shift into 3rd and It’d slow down to 65. No torque at all. Built like a tank.
My 1961 F-100 fleetside had a 292 cu.in. 6 cyl with crossover exhaust.
Oil bath air cleaner. And 4 on the floor. The granny gear was so low I could climb straight up.
Can anyone ID the make – model of the combines in the wheat-harvesting picture ?
i know the Olivers had the big tall air-cleaner intakes
Perhaps a Massey -Harris combine

That U-tub was plain weird…
I would love to have a mint condition Datsun I mean D ATsun B210 like the one in the loader.
Is that a Datsun? To me it looks a lot like a first generation Chevy Luv, but the resolution isn’t high enough to zoom in and say for sure.
The Datsun B210 was a two door coupe Chris, Datsun pickpick ups were labeled 520s, 620s, 720s… https://external-content.duckduckgo.com/iu/?u=https%3A%2F%2Ftse1.mm.bing.net%2Fth%3Fid%3DOIP.9-QJ6462xRdEEhrCxbXlNAHaEK%26pid%3DApi&f=1

A fine collection shown here.
