Local-owned family-operated Mike’s Discount Lumber received a flatbed of beautiful 2x4x12 cedar, finished on four corners and sanded smooth…
…. and almost as warped as pretzels.
After an afternoon of judicious sorting, I owned a small stack of semi-warped on the dimension required for the ‘Gypsy Vardo’ interior I envisioned for our ExpeditionVehicle.

For nearly two decades, viewers marvel and sigh at the identical arcs of our arched ceiling.
“How did you craft such lovely wood!”
My response ‘sorting’ draws a blank stare as they mentally inventory all the ways of wood-working known to humanity.
