“I’m gonna buy me a Mercury and drive it up and down the road”
Regarding that pic of the farmer with sacks of grain on a funky looking tractor…..reminds me of an eastern country in Europe; Yugoslavia or any slavic country. Sad thing is…..they STILL farm with old stuff like that! Makes you wonder if the ‘murican way of “using it up and throwing it away” is better or worse.
Another great batch! That F-series Mercury is even nicer than the one from last week, she looks extra classy in all white with that little touch of red.
Some nice looking hound dogs in that second photo.
I had bought a new white 1991 Ford F-150 with the EFI 300cid 6 cyl and put in F-250 front coils and rear leaf springs with 31X10.50X15 tires on the original factory spokes for that year which had red inserts and lines. I had a friend who was a pin stripper for a high end body shop paint a 1/4″ red pin strip down the upper front fenders and all the way back to the tail light and then a competition strip over the hood just aft of the hood curve down to the headlights… it set that truck off and looked understated classy. I wish I had a picture of it (Divorced, didn’t get all of the picture) I would post it.
More photos to go with the one above that is showing a street filled with moving vans.
