Nice collection of “Puffer Belly”s.
The Sir Nigel Gresley has just had a major overhaul and is now back running charter trains on the mainline in UK.
That is one sleek looking locomotive but where the hell is the headlight? Those marker lamps can’t possibly be bright enough.
Not marker lights: they show a code to indicate what type of train it is. It’s only recently that locos on this side of the lake have been fitted with headlights.
Would like to see #14 roll through Commiefonia today, entertainment value, > HIGH.
Some of those remind me of the movie, “The Train Robbers” anybody guess who was the hottie in there and the story behind her outfit?

Thought so. Was it brought to “level grade” to repair? Refurbish?
Because, with the tilted boiler it cannot run on level ground.
