Would you have any interest in a book in a 16th addition of Railroad Transportation it’s history and its laws. Downsized and found these books. It’s dated 1903. Author was President of Yale at that time.
Hey – I’m confused.. is there as et of locomotives missing after the lead line in the post ?
“Montreal Locomotive Works DL535 Diesel Narrow Gauge, preceding three engines”
Or is it the 4th picture down ??
Your confused, try being in my head for 30 seconds… It is a sub header for the following three pictures.
“Update” I should have said “proceeding” instead of preceding, grammar be damned.
4th from the last pic- I’ve Never seen an Articulated/Twin Engine with a Center Cab… Wonder how the Engineer and Fireman communicate? Semaphore Board? Voice Tube? Small Drivers and the lack of Idlers to the rear makes it look like it’s for Mountain Service, steep Grades and sharp Turns.
Always Interesting Pics you come up with!
Interesting set Cederq
What is the story on the 4-4-0 American up on bogies? I’ve see photos of that a couple of times- are the lower set of wheels driven, or is it for static display?
