Those Great Northern locomotives are impressive, especially that 2-10-2 “Santa Fe” style. That looks powerful even standing still.

I really really need to get that British Railways book of mine that is at least 60 years old, showing the results of German bombing on the railways and terminals…

My testicles do flap at 60 mph, but only when I fire up the bike before I put on my pants, get eager, & forget to dress.
My grandfather worked for the pennsylvania railroad in the yards at Altoona, Pa for 40 years . There were a lotta tracks running thru in the 50’s. He would give me some huge ball bearings to impress my marble playin friends. Riding around the Horseshoe Curve west of Altoona was cool.
