Thank you Phil and Cederq. Thursday always brings a smile to my face and I really needed it today.
About time you put up a picture of the GN, slacker. chuckling
Slackers my game…
I’ve always loved live steam, the loco’s seem to be alive!
Cederq, I need to digitize my British Railways book, it’s about 65 years old and has cool pictures of the Railways after The Blitz – pretty fascinating views (mostly B&W) of the Brits recovering from WWII…
Do it and I will post them!
Is no. 5, Great Western(?) King Charles, a model?
Yes it is, It was cool, so got included. Pretty realistic these model makers, I don’t know which gauge it is though…
You finally posted a pic of a train I rode on!!!
The Durango & Silverton Railway was an amazing experience! It was 30 years ago, but I remember it like it was 20!
With all those sparks in that night shot, I’ll wager she’s a wood burner.
That steam engine in the first one is way cool. Is that the Midnight Express to Hell? Haha…
#2: Awesome! On a few occasions I’ve told Tesla/Prius drivers, “I like your coal powered car, very steampunk.” Then I just grin. Confuses the hell out of ’em every time.
#6: Nice find Phil. That has got to be damn near the last Caboose still on the rails. I haven’t seen one in many years.
