passed up a deal on one of those post drill. 30 bucks at a yard sale. old folks moving into a home and downsizing everything. looked complete too.
just didn’t need it or have the room to store it either. did get a few nice old buck woodworking tools though,, the old guy selling the stuff was surprised I knew
what they where and liked the way I handle them, almost a complete set too.
just missing the 1/2 inch one.
That hand-cranked drill looks like it could use a flywheel incorporated into it. Like previously stated, the lights go out and people kill for that. Literally.
My dad had a drill much like that on the farm. Toward the end he converted it to run off an electric motor, but I bet it could be converted back without too much ado.
It’s currently in Kansas City with my son.
