As an old biology professor once warned me: “Those moans and groans you make as you get older…….are feeding calls for predators!”
If I can get my socks and shoes on in the morning without pulling a muscle, I call that a win but some days you just wake up and hurt for no reason.
My Grandmother called them Mystery Pains.
She also used to say that if she had known how much it hurts to get old she would have never done it.
I completely understand that now.
or not falling over and hitting your head while trying to put on one’s drawers one leg at a time.
My Dad said “It’s hell to get old” when having to take care of his mother. I personally have experienced that of which he spoke, but I still refuse to grow up.
