BTW, except for that little white patch on the chest, the cat in the meme looks exactly like our little Murder Princess.
She came in and dropped a dead fucking mouse right next to my recliner just a couple weeks ago.
The little fucker ain’t got a tooth in her head and she still manages to wreak havoc on the local varmint population.
Birds, rats, mice, you name it. She has quite the body count to her name.

We have/had an all black wild cat in my neighborhood for the past 15 or so years. I haven’t seen it since late spring this year. Not sure if it’s still around or not. Judging by the current rodent population; rabbits, chipmunks and squirrels, I think it may have passed on. In th4e thirty or so years I’ve lived at this address, I’ve never seen so many rabbits. I know that these rodents go through natural population swings, but this year all species are running rampant.
The body conformation on this cat is the same as many other species of wild cat; lean and muscular. It sort reminds me of a mountain lion or a tiger, much smaller of course.
if the critters are like you say, he passed on.
one thing the cats do around here is kill anything they can catch.
even the squirrels don’t come near the place because of them.
my neighbors can not say the same. a few of them bitch nonstop about the damn mice.
when we moved up here in the hills, there where 3 stray cats outside. I told the wife to put some food out to get them to hang around. my granddad had 4 big ass
barn cats and they kept the barn and house clear of critters.
anyway, with a steady food supply, they started making kittens- like a bunch of them. she managed to find a home for a bunch of them and we got the others all fixed. she found a lady to help with that part, borrowed some traps and got them fixed for 25 a cat. all 13 of them. lost a couple over time and picked up a “new
one” so to say. so, we have 11 most of the time. there a very nice lady not too far from us that feeds them too.
but what we do not have is any mice or squirrels or any small birds. the purple
martins are wiped out ! they all have names that thy even respond to. so
yes. we have cats. one inside one- the goof.
and what is a dog. was lied to in a way. lab mix. right ? he a lab mix alright.
he something they call a laddie- a fucking yuppie dog.
not a lab mix in the way I was thinking.
When things get really bad, you could barter the cat’s killings for some coffee beans or something.
I think I have a bit more stashed away then they do. most people have a week worth, maybe 2 ? up here in the hills they might have a bit more. but I KNOW I have at least 6 months worth of food
and there are over 2 cases of coffee downstairs. at least !
don’t drink beer or the hard stuff to much these days, but coffee
I go thru 2 pots a day anymore. one electric pot and 2 that work on the wood stoves or stove top. plus about 10 packs of filters.
but might trade some labor for use of a couple of the cats ?
We don’t have outdoor cats around here, I make sure of that. I don’t like them spraying on everything & stinking up the place, especially my grill cover, I don’t like it when they use my vegetable garden as a litter box & I definitely don’t like them fucking with the birds. And we won’t mention the little bastards sleeping on the hood of my truck & throwing up fur balls that take the clear coat off. I won’t have it.

We keep a dozen or so around the homestead . They are worth their weight in gold to us . No nuts ruining the heater fan in the vehicles or rodent turds in the skillets stored in the oven . They keep the place clean and disease free and we feed them well for that effort . Besides that they are just fun to have around . Also never forget the great bubonic plague started from rat and mice fleas . Killed what ? A third of the human population . I’ll take cats thank you .
