Not quite fish in a barrel… PULL !
Lotsa fun with a fishing crossbow !! But I have a Mossberg semi-auto, which would be even MORE fun.
Abso-fuckin’-lutely classic.
That would beat a afternoon of Trap shooting by a mile, count me in
Agreed, the famous Clay Pigeon is not a trash species, so you are doing much good shooting the trash Carp.
If there were a bounty, oh boy oh boy…
That looks like a hellova lot of fun. Some state’s snowflake do gooders are going to outlaw that tout suite.
New Olympic sport
Winner is whom ever launches the most lead, ooops steel shot for the nanny states
This looks like a HOOT!
The comments in the X post are absolute INGNORANCE ON PARADE! It’s hilarious how many people are saying “You should at least eat them.” It’s OBVIOUS they’ve never had to eat a carp!!!
It would be the same as pouring clam juice on a sand caste, then eating it.
Bring your 18″ riot barrel, they’re so close that works great.
Back in So. Ca. and the last century, my politically incorrect crew of blue collar worker, Cal. Nat’l Guard, San Diego cops, Coronado Seal team guys would retire to my buddies Anza Borrego property (1 square mile) on MLK Day 3 day week end.
ONE of the organized activities, was a free style clay pigeon shoot. Everybody lines up side by each. There is one guy on each end that hand throws with the red sling style, polymer launcher, as fast as they could, high, low, wherever.
I was the only one with an 18″ barrel. The trick is to shoot quick before they’re out of range. Meanwhile, everybody else had to wait until they were far enough away to have a usable pattern. Needless to to say, I cleaned up AND pissed off (maybe just miffed and amused) everybody else. That was the only way I could out score the Seal team guys.
We also had a class 3 guy bring a bunch of class 3 stuff. My favorite, by far, was the MG 42, 1100+ rpm. Better than the Ma Deuce. Great times. I love Tennessee, but that, Craigslist and Mexican food are the main things I miss about East County, San Diego (it was rural country), Commiefornia.
Checked off my Ma Duece from the bucket list over winter. Still dreaming about the MG Mike.
The Ma Deuce is IMPRESSIVE, but I also got to shoot Army, Ca. Guard M-2’s when on annual training, so that itch had been worked on back in the mid 80’s. There’s SO muuch recoil with the M-2 that you get quite the dispersion area.
I shot the MG-42 in 2002. The recoil is a steady push, much easier to control, much better, practical accuracy. Not much fits between those rounds at 1100+ rpm. The US M-60 was a bad clone of the MG-42, with a cyclic rate around 550 rpm, so it jumped around, a lot.
I shot the M-60 the most because I was in the Armament Section. They needed constant attention, so we worked on them the most and we had to test them everytime any parts got changed out.
Great fun, but he definitely needs more practice on target transition and rate of fire.
After hitting a few & destroying a couple of lower units I dislike them too but I ain’t wasting ammo shooting them.
Obligatory disclaimer: Shooting carp is primarily recreational therapy target practice. At that range, shoot the cheapest, low base, 7/8s ounce, no. 7 or 8, cheapy ammo. It’s been so long since I bought any, it was 4 to 5 bucks a box.
What’s black and white and rolls down the beach? A nigger and a seagull fighting over a carp.
Why you have plobrem with Chinese calp, CederQ? This anti-Sinotism. You wirr leceive regal document flom Anti Defamation Reague soon.
