As kind of a side note, I was very pleased to see the sailors aboard the Hunley buried with full Military Honors.
These United States could do no less.
This is interesting, I don’t agree with Skeeter, though. What is the status of soldiers of fortune who fought for the Union side and fell?
Also that of foreign volunteers who fought for Confederate or Union forces, and fell in battle or even died after the war due to injuries sustained during fighting?
Skeeter sir: you might investigate the New England states who proposed their secession from the union far predating the war between the states. Whadaya think of the Texans who insisted on their right of secession as a condition of joining the union? Fuck this bogus “indivisible” horseshit….another excuse for federal abuse for their failed contract with the individual (several) states.
