  1. I occasionally play “The White Knight” by Cledus Maggard, or, ” CB song” by The Legendary Shack Shakers to balance all the Christmas music.

  2. Did Duran Duran play an instrument? It’s been so long since I’ve watched Barbarella that I don’t remember.

Other than the unavoidable grocery runs, I’ve managed to avoid Christmas music almost completely, thanks to my fast finger on the car radio preset buttons.

I’ll add some decent (meaning Classical) Christmas pieces to the play queue on my computer starting Wednesday. I did add some Trans-Siberian Orchestra today. Oh, and Halford’s We Three Kings gets a listen every so often.

    Happy Solstice, everyone!

    • I have a soft spot for Trans Siberian Orchestra also. Even better is watching their concerts on vid or live. Easy to tell they love music and love to entertain.

  3. I prefer traditional and classic Christmas music. Sinatra and similar stuff is decent. The only “modern” Christmas music I’ll tolerate are some of the songs done by Mannheim Steamroller, A couple of classics covered l by Chicago, Christmas Wrapping by The Waitresses, and the cover of Sleigh Ride by Relient K.

Oh, and this little ditty (check it out!):
